Billing & subscription
ProTally runs on a simple subscription with a free trial. The Billing tab is where you start, manage and cancel your plan.
Opening Billing
Go to Settings → ProTally and open the Billing tab.
What's included
The ProTally plan includes everything you need for profit tracking:
- Real-time profit & margin calculations
- Product-level profit breakdown
- Stripe fee tracking
- Cost management per product
- Cancel anytime
Starting your subscription
The Billing tab shows your current status and a clear call to action:
- If you're not yet subscribed, click Subscribe to ProTally to start. This opens ProTally's secure checkout in a new tab.
- If you're on a free trial, you'll see when the trial ends, with the option to subscribe before then to keep uninterrupted access.
Status banners
The tab keeps you informed with a banner reflecting your subscription state:
| Banner | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Free trial active | You're in your trial period — the end date is shown. Subscribe before then to continue. |
| ProTally active | Your subscription is active, with the next renewal date shown. |
| Subscription ending | You've cancelled and access ends on the shown date. You can Reactivate to keep it. |
Managing your billing
Once subscribed, a Manage billing & invoices link opens your billing portal in a new tab, where you can update payment details, download invoices, or cancel.
Cancelled by mistake?
If your subscription is ending, the Billing tab shows a Reactivate plan button. Reactivating before the end date keeps your access without interruption.
