Account Overview

The Account Overview is your top-level view of the business — total revenue, expenses and net profit across every product.

Where to find it

Open the Apps drawer in your Stripe Dashboard and select ProTally. The Account Overview opens with the title "Account Overview".

Choosing a period

At the top of the screen is a Period selector. Choose Last 3 months (the default), Last 6 months or Last 12 months. Every figure and the chart update to reflect the period you pick, and the exact date range is shown beneath the selector.

Want longer history?

The period selector can only show data ProTally has. If you haven't yet imported your past payments, run a data sync first so the 6- and 12-month views are complete.

The headline numbers

Below the chart, a summary table shows three figures for the selected period:

  • Gross Revenue — total revenue from completed Stripe payments, with an arrow showing the percentage change versus the previous comparable period.
  • Expenses — everything deducted to reach profit: Stripe's processing fees plus the cost of goods you've configured for your products.
  • Net Profit — what's left after expenses, shown alongside your overall margin (net profit as a percentage of revenue).

The up (↑) and down (↓) arrows compare the current period against the one immediately before it, so you can see at a glance whether things are trending in the right direction.

The trend chart

The line chart plots two series over the selected period:

  • Gross — your gross revenue over time.
  • Net — your net profit over time.

Seeing both lines together makes it easy to spot when revenue is growing but profit isn't keeping pace — usually a sign that costs or fees deserve a closer look.

If you have no data yet for the chosen period, the chart shows a "No data yet" placeholder. Run a data sync and configure product costs to populate it.
